The Black Keys made a stop at the Electric Factory on their winter tour last week. The place was sold out and the show rocked! I wasn't too familiar with their catalog prior to going. The little I heard online intrigued me. They have a very gritty sound, which I dug. If you didn't know any better, you'd think you were listening to a power trio. The band tore through an hour and fifteen minute set playing some newer stuff in addition to some older tunes. My only complaint was the forty five minute set break in between the Heartless Bastards set. The recording is typical for the Electric Factory: Average at best, but definitely worth the download.
Hope you enjoy!
